Sensor Development Department

1. Immunodiagnostic reagent manufacturing technology
  • Product development of various types of in vitro diagnostic platforms such as rapid, ELISA, fluorescence immunodiagnostic reagents
  • Development of diagnostic reagents for blood-borne or sexually transmitted diseases, heart diseases, respiratory diseases, febrile diseases, sexual hormones, etc.
  • Application of various raw materials and measuring system through R&D network
  • Development of highly accurate, sensitive test strips and mass production technology
2. Biosensor technology
  • Technology that measures levels of physiological markers which specifically react with biomaterials, such as enzymes, antibody-antigen with molecular recognition function by using their characteristics and understanding the action principles for major biotargets
  • Technology that signals the specific reactions of biomaterials using markers such as gold nanoparticles and fluorescence nanoparticles or using electrochemistry and optical principles
3. User-Friendliness of Technology
  • Technology Point of care test (POCT) for simple and fast diagnosis of disease
  • Features of automatic recognition of test device with 2D barcode and Codefree, and automatic recognition of test items

Molecular Diagnostic Development Department

1. Nucleic Acid Amplification Technology
  • Development of qualitative, quantitative and mutation analysis technologies which are more advanced than the existing technology by analyzing the existing nucleic acid amplification technology based on the nucleic acid amplification technology research for on-site diagnosis
2. POC cartridge technology
  • Development of technology that integrates all processes such as sample infusion, fluid flow, micro-mixer, micro-pump, micro-valve, fluorescence detection, etc. into one cartridge based on the technology of Microfluidics and Bio-MEMS
3. Nucleic Acid Extraction Technology
  • Research and development of technology that applies processes such as sample preprocessing, lysis, binding, washing and elution, along with the nucleic acid amplification technology and POC cartridge technology
4. Product Development
  • Development of diagnostic products for high risk virus, tropical diseases and respiratory diseases by using potential isothermal nucleic acid amplification technology to ensure the on-site use of nucleic acid extraction and amplification in one cartridge in order to detect the target nucleic acid from the sample within a short time
